Like Blythe R. said, this place really is a little gem on Thistle Street. It's tiny but it has everything you need for your breakfast or lunch. I only discovered it yesterday but it's already a favourite lunch time place for me. The place seems to be favoured by many others as well, as it's always packed when I go there but that can only be a good sign, right?
This sandwich shop offer soups, salads, baguettes, sandwiches and smoothies to name a few things. They do great deals, e.g. for a brekkie deal you get a filled roll and coffee for under £2 and lunch time meal deals you could choose a soup and a wrap for £3.49
Yesterday I had the most scrumptious thai lentil soup and today I went for a mexican chicken soup. Both soups were full of flavour and it's nice that they have these sort of different flavours instead of the usual plain lentil soup (though nothing wrong with that either).
What is great about Lime is that the people who work there actually SMILE. It makes me want to go back, and I will :) -

Teeny-tiny sandwich and smoothie shop, Lime, is another little gem on Thistle Street.
Overall, we said: "we were well impressed with Lime. Their soup was good and their baguette was better than good. It seems a popular little place, but the service is super-quick, particularly considering that each sandwich is hand-made with a good attention to detail. We'd recommend you pop along, take advantage of their very reasonable lunch prices, and try one of their many flavour combinations."
